Yesterday was our anniversary. Kathy is teaching at our church's Vacation Bible School this week, starts at 6:00 pm. I am driving her because of her recent foot surgery. On the way, she said she was hungry and asked me to get her a hamburger. We went through Jack's
drive thru and got her a regular burger and a senior diet coke, which came to $2.37.

She finished the burger just as we pulled up at church, and she said "thank you for that."
I said, "You're welcome, nothing is too good for my wife on our 46th anniversary."

She laughed, and that's one reason we have been together for 46 years.
 
My wife must have a great sense of humor also as she laughs every time she looks at me
 
Huh. Here I am after 38 years, still taking her out to a nice restaurant, or cooking something special. Maybe in a few years, we can taper down. Heck, I would even splurge on 5 Guys!

Years ago we celebrated our tenth anniversary at the restaurant in the cattle sale barn, and we loved it!:D
 
Well, in my defense, I did take her a few months ago back to the nice restaurant in Selma where we had our first date. (Yes, there is a nice restaurant in Selma.)
 
Different strokes for different folks. Some people like the planning and doing of different restaurants and some people aren't all about that. Good on you for helping with VBS by the way, I'm doing that next week.
