Finding a buyer for a unique qnd expensive knife

Hi All, just was wanting to get some input and/or ideas about where to sell a knife. I have a Knife that was appraised for a lare sum of money. I would like to sell it (need money, been laid off for quite awhile). The problem is that because it is so unique, I have not been able to find a buyer. Any suggestions as to where to look for and find a buyer? I know that this is a general discussion forum and not a selling forum, just was hoping to get a little help and maybe a few contacts/ideas.
