As a newbie to Busse knives Ive been doing research into knives that I can take on deployment with me and can depend on without worry. A few guys I know own ASH-1's and ive fallen in love with them. I was looking to find one black bladed Skinny with magnum handles. (Trying to keep the weight down). Not sure on what current pricing would be, trying to keep cost at around $400. Any help as to where I could look or whom I could talk to would be appreciated.

Check out the Busse exchange on this site.

Great prices.

Welcome to BladeForums!

As mhawg directed you above, your best option is to post a 'Want to Buy' on that forum. Or haunt the Busse For Sale forum. You can also search the Exchange for past sales prices. Armed with that knowledge, you can also shop eBay.

You will also need a good sheath, right? Folks here can advise you the best options for that. I'm guessing you will want something like a Spec-Ops, or a plain Kydex sheath.

If you are running out of time before you deploy, then you can call Busse directly. They will try their very best to hook you up.

Yup, welcome

As for the Skinny Ash, I don't know where you're from, but the Indy 1500 gun and knife show is Janurary 14th ish and Mike (thatmguy) almost always has a Busse table there, and almost always has Skinny Ashs there too.

And Mike will be at the Columbus show in Ohio if that's closer for you.

As for the $400 mark, getting the knife and a sheath shouldn't be more than that.

Unfortunately Ill be in Spokane, WA for awhile else id like nothing better than go to the shows.
