I am trying to find an old post on the Guardians of the Lambsfoot thread. It was approximately 12 months ago. Is there a quick way to go back to the pages 12 months ago?

Unfortunately it’ll all be a guessing game, easiest way to find old posts in a massive thread is to jump back to an older page and see how far back you made it, then guesstimate which page you should jump to next, etc.

Jumping to older pages is as easy as clicking on a page of the thread and then, when the page loads, going to the URL and editing the number at the very end of the URL to your preferred page and hitting enter. Secondarily, there are arrows between the page numbers at the bottom of the page that you can click on to scroll through the page numbers, a bit slower if you have thousands of pages to scroll through.

If you know a specific keyword to use, there is a 'search this thread only' box to check while using the search function. Alternatively, if you know about what page it might be on you can go up to the address bar and change the page number at the end of the address to quickly go to a page in the middle of a thread.

If you have an idea who made the post, or have a keyword you think is in the post, the search function has a box you can check to search only in the particular thread you’re looking at when you click on the search button. You can then either search by keyword or by the member and go from there.

Thanks for all your help, i can type in the page number roughly from the time frame i am searching, i will now be able to find the page that i am after. You have all made it a lot easier for me. Thanks very much, and you all have a good weekend.:):):):thumbsup::thumbsup:
