As you probably already know, knife laws can be so vague that sometimes you really need to look at case law to find out what's legal. However, finding case law is a pain in the butt.
There are several places on the internet that let you search case law and provide you with the cases, but most of these sites require a fee. I've seen two sites that are free. You have to register, but there's no cost.
www.findlaw.com now offers free California case law from 1934 to the present. Interesting stuff, and it seems like there are a lot of Californians here.
www.lexisone.com also offers some free case law, but for every state. I don't think it goes back very far, but it's still useful.
Does anyone know if there are there any other places to find free case law on the internet?
