finding nylon replacement sheath

I've got a mid-80s Parker Brothers knife and don't have a functional sheath. I plan to use it as a camp knife in the Everglades. The blade is 9 inches long, and I can't find any evidence that Parker is still in business. Even if they're not, I'm wanting to find/build a nylon sheath for the knife. Could I do it myselft or do I need to find a local maker, etc? Thanks for the help.

You could probably run a search on Bladeforums and come up with numerous threads about sheath makers. There are members on the forums who make custom sheaths in kydex and leather. As far as nylon type, like a Blackhawk Jump sheath I think there is a guy named Hendrix(spelling?) that runs ads in the back of some knife mags,he might even have a website that builds that type.I'll try to see if I can locate more info.
