Alright. My question is pretty simply. How do you find out about upcoming sprint runs and pre orders before there open and sold out. Im interested in ones sold from spyderco and dealers only. Is there a certain place this info is released. It seems that im hearing about the pre orders after they've been sold out. Thanks

IMO you just have to put in your time on the boards, which is what I do and I still miss lots of stuff. Check here and the forum @ Spyderco as much as possible. Check the various dealer sites as frequently as possible too particularly those that have "preorder" sections. Sign up for newsletters and alerts on the dealers websites. Besides a little luck that's about it. HTH

I usually get my info from this really cool knife forum. It's pretty obscure so you might not have heard of it yet but it's called www.bladeforums.com and it has lots of really cool, up-to-date info on it.

;)

Very true. In order to find out about the latest say SPyderco knives, read the Spyderco subforum, or the Spyderco home forum on their site. Same goes for Benchmade, Kershaw/ZT.
The other option is to email online stores and ask them if they have any dealer exclusive knives out. Info is not readily released per se, it's available you just have to look for it.

Is there anything, apart from say a CPM M4 Titanium Millie, that you have in mind?

He is probably refering to:
Spyderco Mule Teams, currently the Takefu Damascus #7
710 in M390
553 (not the Ritter) in M390 & in S30V
ZT 0551 in ELMAX
Spyderco P2 in CPMS90V
ESEE Izula in Safety Orange 1095
the list goes on.

My dealer, Tom Berry gives me very early heads-ups which is another value added by going with a fine dealer like Tom. Early like as much as a year almost in some cases. Certainly several months out. Apparently dealers get the beta early on from Spyderco.
