Hey all,

I have been looking st Striders a lot recently, but have been trying to keep myself from them for a long time since they are so pricey. Well, I FINALLY found 2 that I like, but like it has been for the last few weeks, my luck has run out: they are out of stock :grumpy:

I don't know much bout Strider, so forgive me. Do they do runs of their knives in limited quantities? Or do people pimp them out themselves and sell them? I have never been able to find this combination again since I have found them. How do you guys find the Strider that you like? Is it all by chance?

Just to show my 2 finds for reference. Both are Sng's with tan scales and DGG:

My #1 favorite

#2

How can I find more like these? I have combed through as many dealers as I can find, the exchange and the Bay to no avail. I found one similar, but the guy wont ship to me since I am currently overseas....

Is there anyone who can help to shed light on my state of ignorance?

Have you checked out the actual strider website? It looks as if you can place an order directly through mick himself.

I combed through it earlier, but i didn't know for sure if all of these features were in-house work that Mick was doing or the work of guys that customized them aftermarket.

Thanks though, I just shot a message through the site; let's hope for the best!

They are not after market customs. They came from Strider. The blade designs/ combo like you've got posted are made in batches and when they are released sell quick. They are hard to come by. On the Strider home page, find the places that are Strider distributors. A couple of them do resell the rarer Striders. You'll have to keep on the hunt until one pops up.
Good luck

How often does Strider produce and distribute their product? It seems like almost everything has been sold out for some time. These things must go extremely quickly; even the simple models.

I have lowered what I am looking for to fit the market better, but even then, i can't find anything. I guess buying Striders is a cutthroat sort of business.

Thanks for the replies guys, it means a lot.

If you find the one you like, don't hesitate. THey move fast.

^Just found that out.

I found a Green DGG SnG with a FFG black tanto blade after hours of searching yesterday. It fell through my hands because I was trying to contact the seller to see if he would be willing ti ship to an FPO. He sold it about 15 min after I sent my message to someone else :grumpy:

I will find one one day...hopefully...

I am in the same dilemma. I have been looking for a specific Strider for some time , with no luck.
