I am selling a bunch of old knives, etched, one liners, prototypes, etc. and have been out of the industry for too long. What is a good source of establishing values, in addition to Ebay? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Blade's Guide to Knives & Their Values, edited by Steve Shackleford. It's been in publication for a while, but it offers good Buck information.

Hi Rev,

Go to the BCCI web site and you can find a list of LE/SO knives. The BCCI list covers from the 70's to 2004/06, Blades guide is good for the vintage plane knives, but only coves the LE/SO knives from the 70's to 94.

Why not visit Eugene this weekend and have your knives appraised for free by a qualified individuals: Tommy Clark from Marion, CA (table N01), Mark Zalesky from Knoxville, TN (table N02) and Mike Silvey from Pollock Pines, Ca (table J14, military knives)?

You are not that far away at the beach. This is an annual event and you can get more information on it here: http://www.oregonknifeclub.org/

I am a member of OKCA. If you have any questions post them here or ping me by clicking on my avatar and send me email. It would be my pleasure to be of service to you.
