Fine Tuning My Collection - Suggestions Please

In advance, please excuse me if I am not at the right place to ask this question. I am a bit of a rookie.

I have been colllecting knives for over 10 years, which is to say I have been buying knives without much direction or purpose. My father had a wide array of knives and after his passing my mother give them to me. My collection soared to almost 200 knives because I was just buying anything and I do mean anything.

I have tried to do do more reading to educate myself and at least I have fine tuned my taste.

I do not use my knives but I love to collect, care for and admire them. As my fathers baby girl, he would be proud. NOW..to the question...I am drawn to larger folding knives, no fixed blades. I look for Case, Schatt Morgan and Queen Steel (older and newer models of each brand). I have a few Bucks and a few Kershaws but I am more interested in the brands I mentioned. I am still learning but are there other similar brands I should consider? Again, I am looking to collect larger, folding knives which are pretty (just kidding about the pretty).

Thanks you for your kindness, knowledge and patience.-- Sandra

Are you looking for traditional folders or more modern designs? How big is big? Wood or synthetic handles? One handed openers or two handers? Locking blades or slipjoints?

Look at MrDagon007 on youtube. He has a lot of interesting stuff on a variety of blades. I'm sure you will find something you like.

I'd suggest you take a look at Chris Reeves Sebenza 21. They are lare, very well put together, and feel really great in the hand. There are many different stylings all on the same base. Many really are pretty! Good luck.
