After reading up on how to's and threads about putting a finger choil on the blade of a zt, I attempted to try it on several cheap stainless steel blades. I used a dremel with multiple different kinds of attachments, but couldn't successfully cut into the blade. I thought it might be because of the hardness of the blade when it was heat treated, but there's no way I could tell because of the lack of background I have in knife-making. Anyway, if anyone knows any tricks or had to do something first before trying to grand or cut away at it, please let me know. I love the look of the choil on the XM-18 blade, and would love to add that to my 0561. Thanks
