Finger Groove Methods?

Hi all, especially woodchucks.

Anyone have any tried and true methods for making finger grooves on the wood khukuri handles?

My only experience was an attempt to make finger grooves on a walking stick..The result was a high source of vacuum!

I'll practice on similar sized wood, before tackling any of my Khukuris. Definitely don't want to screw one of them up.

Just thought there might be a proven method out there somewhere.

One tryed and true method would be to send it to the Sarki Shop.

(But then again you might be looking for the personal satisfaction of woodchucking your way to bliss.)
