Finially made one for myself...Newest Bowie

I made this one for myself...now if I could just convince the boss I need more time off for Field testing!
Blade is 8" of 1/4" 5160 tripple edge quenched, tripple tempered. Top of blade is flat
ground to about 3/16" to lighten it up a little, edge is hollow ground leaving a full 1/4"
spine to the tip. 13" OAL.
Had some engraving done on this one. Handle is Stabilized Walnut burl with a Mosiac pin, brass guard. Jim Auguston sheath.

Another really nice bowie Robert. A little more clip than I generally like, but the quality and finish are definitely there.
 
Nice knife. Were you going for the iron misstress style? i am currently making an i.m. copy for my son.Brass backing and all.
