Finish for Pink Ivory wood

I just traded for a fixed blade knife with pink ivory handles.I would like to give th wood a little more lustre.Any ideas on what to use ?

Pink ivory is one of the woods that is hard enough to take a good shine by buffing without any other finish or sealer. Just buff with white rouge and wipe clean. It does tend to shrink with weather conditions though, so I'm stabilizing the rest of mine.

I like Tung oil on pink ivory. It darkens it a little and makes it look much richer. I hate buffing wood, and this lends itself to a nice high lustre finish without the buffer.

i never buff wood, i'd sand to 2500, then use tung oil. looks like you got a good deal.
