At this year's Best Ranger Competition, this original oil painting by Military Artist James Dietz, was unveiled and hung in the Ranger Museum at the Ranger Training Brigade. It is entitled, "Finish Him Up", an excerpt from Maj. Robert Rogers 19th Standing Order, which in its entirety reads "Let the enemy come till he's almost close enough to touch, then let him have it and jump out and finish him up with your hatchet."

Using our RR Spike and Light Infantry Tomahawks among several other props, Mr. Dietz captured a moving scene where MAJ Rogers and his Rangers fight hard for a position in the field. On the belt of each Ranger is an RR Spike or RR Light Infantry Tomahawk.

American Tomahawk provided Mr. Dietz a number of Tomahawks to equip re-enactors which he photographed in action for concept development sketches before going to canvas.

We consider it a GREAT honor to have been included in the creation of this incredible work of art.

We do have one of these numbered prints available, signed by Mr. Dietz as well as Gen. David E Grange, Jr., the founder of the Best Ranger Competition. If you are interested, contact Ranger Justin at justin@americantomahawk.com

I have one in my office, framed and under glass. It is the most attractive and captivating image one could have in their home or office.

Thanks for checking this out.
