Finish of lock mechanism on PM2 black blade, black G10 handle

I got my new PM2 couple of days ago. It is black blade, black G10 handle but to my surprise the finish of the locking mechanism and the jimping at the locking mechanism, along with the liners are all steel finish. Photographs that I saw were showing in some cases black coating finish for these parts too, but I also saw photos with the plain steel finish as well. I would rather have the 'all black' version. Is that a special edition, can anybody comment on this? How is your black PM2?

To my knowledge there haven't been any PM2s with the liners coated black by the factory. I have seen a couple that the owners had disassembled (voided warranty if you care) and painted / cerikoated the liners themselves. I do feel the liners would look much nicer if they had DLC coating the same as the blade and hardware but its not currently a factory option.
