Finish on Buck Mayo TNT?

I have a TNT and love it. It's the only knife I carry other than my Sebenzas. I have a blast cabinet and frequently refinish the clips on my Sebenzas with 120 grit aluminum oxide. I like the coarser finish on the Mayo. What medium and grit is used to finish them and would it be a warranty issue if I disassemble and touch up the finish on mine?

Thanks,

I really dont know what they are using, but I dont think you could void anything by rebead blasting it..........if you are going to take it apart, make sure you sand all the edges lightly before you bead blast it, thats what I do to all the ones I get to carry (until someone buys if from me later)

Hey Tom, thanks for the reply! I did want to smooth up the edges and re-blast it but wanted to match the original finish and would like to duplicate that finish on one of my Sebenzas since I find it more durable. I tried glass beads and 120 grit aluminum oxide on a Sebby. Guess I'll try some 60 grit next.
BTW, sorry to hear about your medical problems. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Maybe if you cut back on work for a while it will improve. That and some wrist stretching exercises helped mine.

Thanks,
