Took a break for trying to poke deer with sticks from a tree and finished up a few orders I had in progress for some time.

This is NICE! Stabilized Walnut with mosaics and gives this rugged design a classy appeal :)

Very nice balance on this one and the hammon is cool too :)

This knife has Osage Orange for its handle material and will last forever!! It will darken with time and dirty with use (I am hoping) so the rustic look of the blade will offset the color of the scales nicely.

Both look great but I really like the smaller one with the osage handle! The handle material really compliments the blade patina! What is the blade material?

Brian , Great work as usual the big one is very nice and handle on the small ones handle does pop.

Awesome man. I really like that you used the Stabilized walnut with those mosaic pins, that is one of my favorite combination. Good job brother.

I have one quick noob question if anybody can be kind enough to answer me, what exactly does the term Hamon mean? I know it as the wavy temper lines on a mizu-honyaki blade. But i see a lot of people say it in that way you did. Are you referring to the grainy imprinted look on the blade above the bevels on the yellow handled blade? (By the way looks really sick!) because I've seen someone post a pic of a blade somewhat like that grainy design and refereed to it as a "dirty hamon look". So can anyone explain the meaning of this term to me please? (and so its on Google in case someone else looks it up. lol) thanks.

But really fine work Brian, i really like em. Were you in a ghillie suit when you were trying to poke deer? haha. Tomorrow is actually opening day here and I cant wait to get touching distance to a deer.

I like them both. That walnut is very pretty and I agree that the osage handle and etched blade will look better and better with use.
