finished a 8" chef today- not perfect, but nice

So this is an 8" chef, in .050 D2, red liner, curly maple scales, copper pins (which I really like)

The imperfection is then when I was drilling the pin holes the scale it got away from me and elongated the one pin hole (notice the epoxy filled gap). Since I was giving this one away, and it was a really nice piece of curly maple, and the liner was already on it it says as is.

Looks good, handle looks a little skinny for my taste but my wife likes small thin handles.
But looking at your pictures one thing stands out, thoes pour callipers in the background covered in dust :(
