Finished up all the mods on my bk10 tonight. The final step was adding the choil. Its taken a few weekends to get all the stuff I wanted done on it. First the blue and bleach logo etch, then stripping the traction coating off. Added a 90 degree spine and took the edge of the swedge down a little bit so it won't chew up my baton stick so much. dyed the micarta handles to be about the same color as the sheath I made. All worth it. And yes I know the leather sheath is far from professional but it works just fine for me. the bk10 has surprisingly become my second favorite becker. The first still being the mighty bk4 machax!

Dude! They look fantastic! Great stuff! The choil actually makes the 10 look longer somehow. And your sheath is awesome, don't sell yourself short on your handiwork bud. It looks very functional. Good work knifejunkie. Living up to your name! I'm sure you had fun working on those beauties. Onya bro..

Yeah turned out really well. Interesting choil very generous. Be good to hear how you find using it. Great stuff well done man. nice sheath as well.

Hard to beat personalizing your Becker isn't it? I'll bet that choil and thumb ramp work pretty good together for fine stuff. Great job on the sheath as well, although you might like a saddle stitch better.

NIce work. I like a generous choil on a knife, but I have never added one. I'd be worried I'd screw something up. Again nice work.

The choil and thumb ramp work amazing together! I LOVE the becker thumb ramps. It saddens me to see all these people here take them off, but to each their own. Really the thumb ramp is the reason I went bk10 over bk2. Ill Still most likely end up getting a bk2 someday.

I hope it continues to work perfectly for you. It must feel great to have really made it your own. I love the color(s) of the blade.

Yeah, I like it! Its not even on my list since I have a 12 but I've been peekin at it here and there. I like the idea of taking the swedge down and I saw a deramped job that really looked nice. Hmm maybe I'll try to get my hands on one at blade and give it a fondleing and see what happens. Good job!

I really need to change my name to beckerknifejunkie. I really only buy knives from two companies now Becker and L.T. Wright.
I know how you feel - I own 8 fixed blades and 6 are Beckers! Of the other two, one is a Gerber (my first fixed blade before discovering Beckers) and a small custom that I won in an online contest. I have "flirted" with purchasing other brands, but keep coming back to BK&T!
