Based on my last pictures I tried to do a couple of things better, behold "The Optometrist"! (I'm not real creative but figured this would go in your eye, hence the name)

1. Higher grind on this one.
2. Handles are slimmer, made sense since it's a push blade.

3/16, 1084, powder coated. Please give me some feedback so I can continue to improve.

I love push daggers.

You work looks pretty good.

The design works against its intended function as a "Push Dagger". That is a big wedge and would take much more force to penetrate. But it does make a statement that is for sure :)

Bill, nice go at it. How about stretching and narrowing the design an inch, throw another grind on top and calling the next one "The Labotimiser"! Start slashing with that one there and you'll find some serious "hot spots", but for poppin someones eye out:eek: i think you nailed it! Hidden pins?

Thanks guys, I like the powder coat.

cbr900son - Not enough skill to make everything match, so I did my own thing.
avirgil - I'm more worried about getting it out!
GTH11 - My son said he will get worried when I make the "circumcisor"

Thanks for the feedback

Might seem like a no-brainer, but if you make another of these, you might try folding a piece of paper in half, drawing half the knife, and cutting it out along the curve so you have a full pattern. Then trace it on your steel for cutting out. Then you have a symmetrical knife that you can make into a dagger. That's how I've done my daggers, by and large.

I like the powder coat myself. Did you do the coat yourself, or send out?

Falcon - I can do the trace thing, I just dont have the skill to grind them the same. I really suck at this and a man has to know his limitations.

I don't think you give yourself enough credit. That is really nice. I like a single sided push knife. Its different. I really like the handle by the way.
