So, I finally finished up my 14s polish yesterday.

I love the polish on this blade, but it was still lacking something. I decided that I wanted a leather sheath and some wood slabs. I got in contact with Tommy the Who, and with any luck, I will be purchasing some Olive slabs for this sucker soon. Now just for the leather sheath. Being broke, I wasn't ready to pay the amounts asked for a decent sheath. So, Kydex it was until a later time.
I remembered carrying my 14 and my Buck 113 together in a double sheath earlier. So, why not give it a try?

Aww yiss.

Perfection. It isn't moving anywhere at all. It is a super nice fit.
So, if anyone wants a leather sheath for the 14, buy a spare Buck 113 Ranger sheath!

Looks good. I'm curious how long a polished finish will hold up from either a patina or wear?

I think the higher the polish the longer the resistance to patina. Of course, the ones to ask would be GSOM or Col Defender as, if I recall correctly, they have high polished KA-BAR 1095 before on some mods.

+1.
A smoother surface area is hard for anything to grow on. The better polished, the better resistance.

I just bought olive slabs for this thing! A friend is also making me a leather piggypack sheath for this and the 9.
