I started this knife made from a Condor Golok, about 5 months ago, and since then it has had multiple handles placed on it. However, I just couldn't find a single style that suited the blade shaped, but now I have and don't let me change it. I decided to use bocote wood with brass pins and imitation sinew wrap. I also soaked the blade in bleach to give it a corroded look and then used a wire wheel to clean it up. Personally I believe that this would fall under the frontier knife category. I know the fact that making it out of a production machete doesn't make it a true custom. But it's about as close that I've come since everything was done by me, except the tempering. Which actually made it harder to work with, especially when I was working on the edge because I had to use files. Anyways I hope you like, all that's left now is to get a sheath to match the knife

Specifications
Blade Steel: 1075
Blade Length: 4.9 inches
Blade Width: 1.5 inches at it's widest point
Blade Thickness: 6 millimeters
Overall Length: 9.5 inches
Sheath Info
The sheath is made of the same wood as the handle, Bocote. Inside the sheath is 7 powerful disk magnets to hold the knife in with leather separating the magnets from the blade. The cordage I choose was sinew for the stitching on the belt loop and the wrap around the wood. Thanks for looking
