Hi, Was finally able to get in the shop and finish this one. I posted this already as I was making it to get your opinion on the side spacer but I thought I would show the finished knife.

3.25" Etched O1, hand rubbed satin finished blade
Raindrop pattern damascus bolsters with black Micarta and twist pattern damascus spacers
Afzelia Xylay scales
.63 textured / anodized liners with black Micarta back spacer
7.50" over all length

Thanks for looking, (again)
Dave

Said it before and I'll say it again, drool, slobber, slobber, drool. Great knife. Clean lines with a slight recurve...drool.

Thanks you guys!!

henryblowery, The wood is Afzelia Xylay, Here's a qoute from a web sight that sells wood but I can't remember the name of the site, Light wood with highly unusual grain pattern. Sometimes called Alligator Wood or Snakewood for reptile-like scale look. Harvested from Laos.

I explained how I did the metal part here http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326565 scroll down, I think it's post #9

I really don't keep track of my time yet, I'll just say this, if I based my decision to make knives as a profession on my current knife making hourly rate, I would never make another knife, but it's more for love than money. I am getting quicker :)
