Hi everyone,

I have an ongoing thread elsewhere but I figured it should come here too! Please enjoy these images of my most recently finished piece. This slipjoint folder was made by John Lloyd, purchased by a forum member and sent to me for engraving. This is the design I created for his commission. Thank you all for looking!IMG_6556.jpgIMG_6562.jpgIMG_6522.jpgIMG_6528.jpgIMG_6548.jpgIMG_6535.jpg

Your work never fails to amaze ~ Love your Nature Scenes ~ Absolutely Wonderful Work ~ !

I need to pick the best knife for you to work on. Can you do a non-figurative pattern, like crisscross or diamond design, herringbone, that kind of thing?

I must say that your work is phenomenal and congratulations on being such a Master of your Art. ❤️

I have photographed HUNDREDS of engravers whose work is exceptional. Your scroll work rivals and may exceed many of them. Bravo!

It's the OTHER artistry which sets this piece apart: The realistic elk in a storyline scene also utilizing the rule of thirds. The lettering in an appropriate serif font partially obscured by the grasses. Outstanding visually.

You are going to be busier than you wish in no time. Keep it up! HA!

Maybe?! I hope so. Thanks for your kind words. It's been a year since I started on my engraving journey. I'm happy to be producing work that brings joy.

My availability is still really wide open, I have only one project in my lap right now.

I had someone from William Henry contact me, but correspondence dropped after he asked about my snakes. -shrug-
