Ok,,,,I made this with you guy's advice ,,,took one afternoon,,,and was easy,,,

I dont actually have any swords yet made to put in it,,,,but I felt that before I start that project I should have a good place ready for them,,,

The photos are of very poor quality, but thats that,,,the wood of the rack is actually very much lighter in color that the wood on the walls, but the light I needed to take the photo washed out everything,,,,

Anyway, thanks everyone for the help on the different topics I have talked about this project on..

suggestion...take some lacing material and wrap the metal holders.
 
Now that's a nice rack! I second shappa's remark about the metal hooks; it would be a shame to scratch your swords.
 
Yes,,,,I have been thinking that too...I think the movie metal racks have a soft rubber lineing of some type,,,so was going to try to find some type of stick-em rubber on one side stuff?

however, if I cant find something that looks like the movie prop...I will use anything I need to ,to protect the sheaths....
