Hello Folks,
After reading so much, doing tons of research, and buying tools and steel, I finally started knife making a few months back!
I had a lot of fun and definitely fell in love!
I wanted to show you all what I made, because I think in the end thats part of what we do it for, for others to use and see our work.
All advice, tips, and constructive criticism is very much appreciated.
First one.

The blade is made from 4mm, 1095.
Teak 6mm handle scales
and stainless steel pins.
the second one.

Also made from 4mm, 1095.
Oak 6mm handle scales
and also stainless steel pins.
I'm having a hard time getting them truly sharp, they cut though.
But any help here on this subject is very welcome, maybe someone can point me towards a good thread ?
The knives are gonna be a Christmas gifts for my granddad and my fiancée, which I'm probably gonna regret.
But I know for a fact that my granddad will love it , and use the hell out of it.
Cheers,
Thomas
