I finally got the pics of my finished CUK up. The knife is based on Bob Lum's Chinese Utility Folder, but with some distinct differences. Blade was made by Madpoet Custom Knives (HIGHLY recommended!) and is of 5/32" D-2 with a full flat grind. I finished the blade to 400, but it took on quite a shine, which is strange (can't see that in the pics).
I used black canvas Micarta on the handle with two small stainless steel pins and mosaic pins of my own creation. The mosaic pins are brass and aluminum and have red epoxy. Blade measures about 4". For finished touches I etched the blade and Mel fileworked the letter "A" into the spine for my last name. Check it out if you're interested. Of course, it has one of my own Kydex sheaths, too! ;-) I think it turned out well, but I'd be curious as to what you guys (and gals) think! Thanks!
