I'd made 2 knives and hadn't even made myself one yet, so I did. It's a general purpose large knife kinda deal. I think it'll be a good light duty chopper. It's 1095 heat treated with a one-brick. 10" long, give or take. Ironwood (Carpinus caroliniana, not desert ironwood) scales with 'dark walnut' danish oil finish. It has a bunch of imperfections and things kept going wrong, but I think it turned out ok.

That's how we humans learn and improve :)
Looks like a fine 'usin' blade to me .

Don't get discouraged, we all start out where thing go wrong... but the sad thing.... they still can after years of bladesmithing.... Sometimes the steel is stubborn... I still put a blade down and "walk away" before it gets the best of me..... LOL....LOL....

What you have looks to be a great user. What type of knife is a knife that cannot cut?

Thanks for sharing...
