I bought a woodcraft mule a while ago, and I finally got around to finishing the handles. I picked up some cocobolo slabs from my local woodcraft store. I used 3/16 brass pins from my local hardware store. This was my first time making handle slabs, and I think it showed. It took me a while but I'm happy with how it turned out :)

I really like the wood on the lighter side. My last Mule I put handles on used Cocobolo as well. It's a fantastic looking wood and it looks like you did a great job with yours.

I love the way it turned out, now I just need to make a sheeth for it. I have plenty of kydex, but this one feels like it needs some leather.

Nice work, EDC!
If you hadn't told me, I never would have guessed it was your first knife scaling job...

Thanks guys, I can't remember what size the blocks came in but I picked them up at my local woodcraft store. I bet you could find the same thing at there online store. I also did some g10 scales for my izula and have more G10 coming any day :) I really liked this project and can't wait to do some more. I will try and get some pics up of the knife in use :D
