OK this project is done for now. Sort of satin finished the blade flats, left a polished zone for the blade. Removed the handles and smoothed them with sandpaper. re-attached them with a barrel connector and some screws.

Looks pretty good now

the pommel and the ricasso area has a nice "rustic" look to it.....love that polished edge bevel...very "ban-like".....

Good job, nice to have the contrast between satin and rustic. Makes you appreciate each bit of the knife for itself.

As one of my old tutors used to say "If you make everything special then that makes everything normal", think that really applies well here.

I think Soup and Ban do outstanding work and have their distinct styles so it's good to see an alternative look.

but not sure if anyone else here free hands a convex edge as well as JUSTABUYER:D:thumbup:

may send ya my recently acquired 1st generation saberground SFNO for that wicked edge.

Its never been used but someone thought they need to F@%$ with the edge.

debating to send it to Busse to re-do and put in safe or have you do it Jim---so I can beat her????

thoughts . My only fear is maintaining it since I am not you, or do I put it on my edgepro so I can maintain it??

Still following me around eh? Your Ghey stalker crush is getting a bit old.
I did not learn to take pictures from Tiny. The most useful thread was one from here started Coop. Please don't spam your forum in my posts Ron.

I am going to close this thread since Ron is going to try to derail it.
