Finished this one up this morning: etched 01 and green jade ghost G10

Had a request for a one-off hunting knife with a 3" blade. This is what I came up with:

7.5 OAL, 1.25x1/8x3" 01 etched blade (58-60 by Peters HT), bead blasted green jade ghost scales, nickel silver corby bolts and tube.

Sweet knife! I love the look of your makers mark. You got that in there deep.

I like the forge finished flats of the blade too.

Very nice, BMK. That etch and stamp looks good! I had wondered how a stamp would look on a dark blade like that, and it's great! I'm a sucker for Jade G10, too! What are you doing with your knives these days - I don't see 'em on the for sale forum? Are these that you show for orders? I wish I had some more time to get after a few of my own!

Chainring: I have had a number of people ask me for some one-off designs, with a specific purpose in mind. This particular one is going to a hunter. I have had fun doing custom work and designing some new ones.

Do you mainly do scandi grinds?
