Thanks guys,

I am learning more as I go....I have learned the upmost respect for the guys that start from nothing but a piece of bar stock.

Cerabus...I wuldn't have even bought a Becker had I not seen Soupmonger and a few other BK2, BK10's that had been redone.

Just take your time, get the right tools to make it as easy as possible (then again if you get the right tools you will need to do more) like a cheap 1x30 belt sander and a variety of belts, 220 too 1500 grit W/D paper and see what you come up with.

I cut the larger Choil with a Dremel Tool, had the thumb groves cut at a local saw sharpening shop. Micarta is messy and I don't know if G-10 is any better.

I have a BK11 in route to play with later during the winter.
