Kaleb, your work is steadily improving. Your pin work on this one is great. When you complete the minor project we have discussed, I have something bigger, more demanding you might be interested in.

Given your interests, and your obvious talents, you might consider an apprenticeship with an ABA bladesmith. Or attending some of their classes or clinics. At least one person here has the ear of someone high up, an accomplished master bladesmith in his own right. He might be able to help guide and focus you if you are seriously considering turning your hobby into more than a personally satisfying past-time. Speak up if you are interested.

Codger, I have considered going to hammer-ins and plan to within the next year or so. Dad is a semi retired bladesmith, and he is keeping me busy, helping me improve upon my work right now. IF I end up letting my "hobby" expand past personal blades ect, It would be a slow paced thing, I want to keep it fun, take the fun out of it, there is nothing left but a stressful job . I'd take a fun pastime that makes me a few dollars over a stressful 9-5 job any day. Hope you understand. Let me know what you have in mind as far as the bigger project, perhaps we could discuss it through personal email.
Take Care
