Finishing a Big Boar Tusker

I haven't posted a progress thread latley so here it is. Customer ordered Tusker with ironwood scales.
First pic is the HTed blade, ready to finish and the set of scales.

Next is the scales attached to set overnite.

More later this week.

I love those handles. I am sure that knife is going to make someone VERY happy. These knives are more than a tool, they are works of art.

At some point we'll have to discuss the different scales you offer, cause I never thought of anything but the Micarta I have been getting.... Hmmmmm.

I work with alot of different handle materials. Stag is VERY expensive these days. Buffalo horn stinks. :barf: Stabilized wood is limited. Ironwood is getting costly also. Real shame because it is a beautiful wood.
