finishing canvas micarta scales!

i have some scales in raw canvas micarta with a hint of black color in them! but i was wondering what is the best way to finish them off! do i use boiled linseed oil and let each coat dry! or use some other kind of oil,please help,as i have never finished micarta before,thank you.

I would not use linseed oil. I would sand them fine, to 5-600 grit and cloth rub them if you don't have a buffing wheel. Then for a final touch add a drop of mineral oil. DM

i got ya david,sans the linseed oil! and will do like you said with the grits,and just finish them off with the mineral oil,thank you vary much.
