Well, I know this has been covered before, but knifemaking is an ever-evolving art. So, what do tose of you who work with CF think about finishing it? Techniques, what grit to take it to, common mistakes, etc. Either post your thoughts here or post a link to whichever of the many CF threads you think is most informative.
Also, since this is in relation to a specific project, I have a knife-specific question: I'm replacing the scales on a BM705, and the are held on by tiny bolts which go through one scale (recessed heads), through the liner, backspacer, other liner, and then into small nuts which are recessed into the other scale. Anyone know where I can get this hardware, and how to properly install those recessed nuts?
