I'm on a budget right now, so I picked up a Cold Steel Finn Bear. I'd read good and bad so I had to try it myself. $14.89 out the door. 4" blade 4116 Krupp stainless steel. So far I'm impressed. I've cut veggies, cardboard, and batoned 1"- 2" pine and locust trees. It is lite ro carry. I will continue to use this knife. It's going kayaking next weekend. Anyone have it or the Roach Belly?

I have a Finn Bear and it is my go to kitchen knife. I also have the Finn Wolf and though a tiny bit thinner, it also works in my kitchen. I usually stroke 'em once a week on my Sharpmaker and they are good to go for the next week.

I have a Finn Bear, I'm not too big on fixed blades as I only use them a couple times a year, so I didn't want to spend much.

Took it camping a couple times, cut MANY branches to put under my tent, batoned some firewood, did it all no problem. EASILY worth $15.

I have all the knives in that series, every one is worth the money. Not a hard use knife, but they are good cutters.

I have the roach belly and the canadian belt knife also. They are excellent users even though they are small. Very good value for the money.:D

Aye, never owned a Mora and tend to go with the "real" traditional knives, but I do have a finn bear and it is still slicing strong since I got it maybe 3 years ago. I can't stand the handle, one rainy day I'll find some wood and carve me some scales for it.

I've got one too. Its a great little general utility fixed blade and a fantastic knife for the money.

I havea Finn Bear and used it on a camping trip for everything and found it a very good knife. I'm gonna search out a better sheath, but other than that I'm satistied.
