One of our Canadian dealers is introducing these for the first time in Canada.
I've never heard of them, but a quick search shows some nice products in decent steel (O1/D2/S30V).
Anyone have experience with these?
Couple of pics from their website https://www.brisa.fi/portal/index.php?option=com_oscommerce&osMod=index&cPath=119

They look fabulous. I tried to find some of the bigger ones in the U.S. withough much luck. It seems that everyone only carries the Trapper. Trying to find them on the net, I did come across several accounts of the D2 blades having some bad chipping issues though.

Here's a Trapper and a Nordic that I made not long ago. They are both in O1 steel, and I can't say enough good things about them:

Mine has worked great!
If I had the change, I would have bought the traditional hidden tang one though. Those trappers are a bit too squared for my taste and painful for hand in longer terms.

I want one!

A customer sent me one to make a sheath for him, and now I want one.

The blanks are around, but the knives with finished handles are kinda scarce, and I need one of those, so I can make sheaths for folks who have the factory finished ones.

Best,
Marion

I'm waiting to see what Paul get's in. I'd go for an 01 Trapper in black micarta. From what I've read about D2 in general ( chipping, hard to sharpen) I don't think I'd like that steel ,but I could be mistaken.

Here are a few I've made:
