Thanks for looking

I really like it. I love the juxtaposition of the really clean lines and profile with the rustic look. What does it mean that the handle is 'leather backed'?

Thanks!

Leather backed..... I glue 12-14oz (over 1/4" thick) leather scales on and shape them, prior to the wrap. They absorb shock and are pretty much indestructable. The West Systems Special Coating Epoxy I soak it with is used in marine applications (like fibreglass rezin, I think) .... Anyway, I still have a test piece sitting in a water filled tupperware bowl in the corner of my shop... almost 2yrs now..... no breakdown.

Your work just gets more and more attractive ... :D

I'd buy one, but I'd probably screw up and slice my palm to the bone.:o I'm just not as careful as I should be.

Still ... you make very impressive knives.
