Wow that is an excellent looking knife and a good idea. I dont buy many folding knives but this one i might just get!!
 
is it hollow ground to a zero grind? is it more scandi ground to zero ground? sorry my proper use of correct terminology stinks, hopefully you get what i'm asking?

i've seen some early reports of easy rolling on soft wood feathering and such.......
 
This was probably the 1st Cold Steel knife on my radar in a long time. I'd been looking at the Enzo & Helle folders with a scandi-edge and was curious how they would work as a woods edc. When I saw the Finn Wolf announced I was very intrigued because the price was way less than the other 2, and some features (triad lock) appealed to me more. But then I read it had a hollow grind instead. Unless I read of it being easily sharpened out to a scandi-edge, I'll pass on this one.

This was also on my short list, until I discovered the hollow grind. If the next run has the proper grind I'll get one.

A super small advanced shipment of these knives went out with a Hollow Grind. The full production run models (shipping now) are Scandi Ground

Awesome! That significantly renews my interest in this model. I'm thinking this will make a great gift for those who aren't terribly well versed in knife lore. The Triad lock and Scandi grind should make it plenty tough and the grind with the blade steel will make it very easy to sharpen for a beginner.
 
Yep good news. I had been trying to figure out how to sharpen the hollow zero without turning it into a cluster. This model is on my short list.
 
I cant wait to get my hands on this knife and will regrind the blade to full height convex.Should be very good performer.
 
I asked this in another section, but some of the early reviews last winter mentioned the edge rolling. Has this problem been fixed?
