Finnish Alternative To A Mora?

Howdy, didn't see a Scandi section so I'm not sure where to put this question, but what are some Finnish alternatives to the typical Mora?
I'm not a fan of the typical Swedish handle & blade geometry (i.e. Mora Clipper), but camping out of a canoe is pretty wet and really lays a beating on the typical wood handled puukko.

Is there a Finnish company that makes a relatively cheap, plastic handled, puukko? Basically a Mora Clipper with a straight barrel handle and minimal guard?

Check out Ragweed Forge. He should have something that meets your needs. Great prices and service, too.

Well, when I was younger Fiskars made very similar knives to Mora, but I'm unsure how it is now.

Google Martiini knives of Finnland. They have several outdoors knives made with larger kraton handles and stainless blades all in the $18-22 range.

I've seen some of the Fiskars line of hollow plastic handled knives still for sale. Don't know where they are made, probably China? Had one as a cheap beater in conscript service, worked ok. Then there is something by Iivarin Puukkotehdas, basically a very simple Mora knockoff with plastic/rubbery handle for a few coins in hardware stores, I've heard that they are pretty decent. As a business idea I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble to try and out-Mora a Mora but anyone can try of course.

Ahti makes a really nice knife for a reasonable price. Mine is the Metza - about $50, which is twice as expensive as a wooden-handled Mora, but it's twice as nice too. They make some plastic handled knives, but I'm not personally familiar with those models.

Most of the higher-grade Scandinavian knives are available in natural materials only (that's why I like them). Helle and Karesuando, for examples.

Check out the Mora 2000. It has a somewhat odd grind, but that isn't a problem, in my eyes.

The Marttiinni M571 is as close as you'll get to a Mora.

It's only in carbon steel, though.

Also check out Kellam's S-Line (just google it). I have an Ahti Finman exactly like the one pictured below that fits my hand better than the Mora 510 does.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.

But dang, those look really nice too. Just had to order both and see which one I like better :D
My Fallkniven F1 is as much knife as I'll ever need, but I was looking for something I could pass around the camp or lose at the bottom of a rapid and not fret much.
