This was alot better than my first blade. This is 01- tool steel. Overall length is 7 inches. I'll try to get someone to help me post the scan of her. I am satisfied with this one. Nice lil' everyday knife.

Here Ya go. looks like a nice handy user Brian.

Thanks! I need to be able to do this on my own. Thanks for posting!

The etching isn't so good but hey...my name is on it!!

The handle feels awsome. It really fits well.

Lookin good. is that an edge quenched temper line i see there? :D do the rivets look the same on the other side?

it is an edge quench but I think what you see may be my sloppy 1500 grit sanding. I cant tell. The rivits look the same on both sides. I think I'll try the old standby brass rod home made rivits next.

Then again it may be the quench showing up!

Well, you won't be entering that one in the ugly knife contest, that's for sure. Nice looking, user friendly little hunter.

Thanks. I couldn't have done it without this forum...thats for sure!

Very nice! Is that purple heart on the handle? Dang I wish my early knives had been this clean...keep it up!

Dave

I am happy with this one. Yeah, thats purple heart. I like it!! I wish it was a little more brilliant though.

Can I get that at lowes? I may try desert ironwood next. I like the look of that!

Not to shaby, wish my first couple dozen were that good! Nice combination, good design, good execution. I do like loveless bolts on a user, when there on there the handle isn't coming off!

I also like the plain home made brass rivets using 3/16" rod. I put that on a small kitchen type knife also.
