Very nice photos, and a very nice SFNOLE! What photo gear are you using for those shots, if you don't mind my asking?

I used my Nikon D300s, a Nikkor AFS 50mm/1.4 and a Nikkor AF 20mm/2.8 lenses...I haven't packed heavier lenses for hiking.

But lot's of creative opportunity was around, and I was a bit sorry not having my other lenses with me...
 
Lake Balaton is a great place epecially off season, last time I was there was July and there were people everywhere, we were lucky my cousin Zoltan knew some one and we got out on some private beach that was totally desserted.

Those pics make me yearn to go home, (mother's from Kunsziget, near Gyor and my dad was from Miskolc, two totally different cultures).

Great pics thanks, great knife too, BTW where abouts in Hugary are you?

I forgot, it's 3:00am over there, I'll understand if I don't hear from ya till later. ;)

yeah, Balaton is te best at off season, for sure.
The pics were made around the Tihany- Sajkod area.
Currently I live in Budapest, but my hometown is Pécs.

Peter, it's Tibor Attila, ya can't get much more Hungarian than that, I was back home in '06 with my Mother and my Daughter we were there for 6 weeks, my Daughter was 16, (same age I was the last time I went back) and she had a blast, what a difference between 1976 and 2006.:thumbup:

I forgot how much I missed the food and breads, I should start a Hungarian Food thread.

Glad to have met another Hunky, I don't run into many in Notrh East Pennsylvania, mostly Pennsylvania Dutch and Italians.

Hope to see more of your pics and more of you around here.

Some of the nicest sunset pic's I have ever seen :thumbup: "Calander" quality .... is photography your job ?

Every time I walk in the hills "the views" are the true rewards ....
