I was cleaning out the last corner of the shop and found a 9 layer billet that aparently got the brunt of the local fire depatrment (i.e. knocked into a corner and left for about a month or 2 after being hit with fire exstinguishers and alot of water).
Oh well, I guess that ones shot. I thought about soaking it in battery acid for a few days but, it's probably not worth it. Make a good door stop though.
:D

Yeah grind it down and wrap a different chunk of steel around the outside for the edge. Maybe make another cool push dagger?

Another fire momento...that's just what I need Dan. I think the burn scars on the barn timber will do.
;)
It's really not rusted hardly at all. Maybe the extinuisher junk preserved it. I'll soak it in acid and give it a try.
