Was wondering if anyone in the U.S. has lost a fire flint from their kit?

Like the flint that comes with the Izula.

This give a way is easy, these are the rules.

1. U.S. forum members only, (sorry about that non-U.S. peoples)
2. Only for people that have lost a flint or in need of one.
3. Must post to this thread, what they are thankful for.

We are all going through something right now, but we need to focus on what God has blessed us with and what we are thankful for.
When you start thinking about things you are thankful for, you will really be surprised how blessed you really are.

Will run the contest for a week and then close it down and announce the winner and ship.

I recently lost my job.
I am most thankful for my son (he is two).
Losing my job means that I have got to spend a lot of time with him!
He is awesome! I will find a new job and right now all the bills are covered.
The exceptional joy that I feel playing with him will be missed when I go back to work but its a blessing to have the opportunity!

Thanks for this post Marko!

Jacob, I love you son!

BTW I will pass on the flint, I'm blessed enough!

I have to agree with Necrodamus except of course I am talking of my son, but would like to add my wife in too. He is currently sleeping in his swing and she is baking cookies, but I think he likes his training knife a lot.

What more could you ask for?

I lost my job as well, but I am thankfull to have a wife that supports my decisions, a son that loves me, and friends that stand by me. Thanks brother

You don't have to add my name to the list, but I am thankful regardless.

1. For the grace of the heavenly Father in my life
2. For my family and friends.
3. For adversity... The Lord uses this to make us more like Him.

I could go on, but you get the idea.:)

I'm thankful for the roof over my head and what it represents. It's pouring outside and I live in a city with many homeless. These may be tough times for everyone but there are always those suffering more. Goodluck to everyone and remember to keep your head up

Cool thread, thank you.

I'm thankful for both the schooling and the talent that makes it possible for me to be here with you. Being able to learn English surely has enriched me.

(oh, and of course this is no entry in the giveaway, as I'm European)

I'm thankful for a great family. I raised my dauther by myself since she was 1.5 yrs old. She is now 27 and just got accepted for her Phd. I thankful I'm still here since I went through two unrelated cancers a year apart and beat both of them so far. Going on 3 years now. God bless everyone and have a great Holiday season. BTW I'm sure some else could use the fire/flint more than I can, I have several already and still have my job of 35 years.

Recently lost a friend to a drug overdose! I'm very upset and pissed with mudr;f fpr not knowing about his habit!! I thought he smoked a little weed, guess I was wrong. This loss really made me think about life and how fragile and precious is it!! I am very, VERY, very thankful for my beautiful, loving, kind and forgiving wife!! Life wouldn't mean nearly as much as it does without her! I'm also extremely thankful for the internet, you can come online an spill your guts to you online friends and then go about as normal with real world friends! There is something about the seemingly anonymous relationships one can create online! I find it easier to talk to strangers than I do friends many times!

\\sorry for any typos. going on VERY LITTLE sleep//

I'm thankful for my friends, but most of all my parents. They love me a lot and I want to make them proud.

I am thankful for my 2 month old baby girl, and her mother without whom I would have most likely been making this post from prison or the grave.

I am thankful for so many things in my life, it is hard to know where to being.

I am thankful for my wife, who after 20 years together, I still look forward to spending time with.
I am grateful that my youngest child has far exceed the limitations the doctors said he would always have. That both my children are happy and healthy.
I am grateful that I am still employed and able to house, feed and cloth my family.
I am grateful for the chance to get up each day and make a positive difference in someones life, and for the friends I have to share the experience with.

And so much more......

And I am thankful for this thread to get me to stop once in a while and remember what is really important in life. Not entering the contest, no need to, but that you for having it.

I am thankful for my health. I've been really sick and now, I'm starting to feel like a real person again. Luster returning to my cheeks and a smile to my face. I'm excited to be a productive citizen after 11 days of bed rest. Good health is so often taken for granted and so easily taken away. Thanks for the opportunity!

thankful for many things. my friends, my family, my amazing dog, of course all my rat knives, for the mountains for nature to many things to write down without taking up everyones time.

i would love the flint but give it to someone else. i can always pick up a flint at rei or something. some people here may really need it

Killstew, thanks brother. It kinda killed two birds with one stone, I needed a compass and the one from Rat comes with a button compass. Im way stoked.

Hows that pack working out for you?

Mailed this morning, made a small bubble wrap pack and put it into a business size envelope. I am glad I went inside, the post lady said it needed to be marked special so it won't get sent through the machine and torn up. Sooo, it is on its way :)
