Fire kit fun in the woods

Another day out in the woods. The green up is really starting to flourish but the hike into my spot was soggy. We have had so much rain lately. Makes things challenging.

Found piles of this at the base of a tree. I am guessing bird nesting material.

Locust tree and they are brutal. They make good fish hooks though.
