Going to put up a nice Fire Piston here.

CompleteFirePistonKitwithCompanion.jpg

This is a VERY complete fire piston kit. It has the fire piston companion where you put the ember into and it starts right up, then you can transfer it to your larger tinder bundle.

This kit also contains fire rod lubricant, Shredded cedar bark, Eureka Black Bear Ignition Material and a lot of spare gaskets, plus a cylinder cleaner and a pick to clean out the tender x.

This comes from ebprimitives on ebay. If you e-mail for more information or get a piston, please tell him PastorMarko sent you.
Emil makes an AWESOME quality product with superior craftsmanship. :)

I've used a fire piston once. It worked ok but then stopped working.

Fire pistons are not has easy as they seem sometimes. The bore has to be clean, depending on if it is a sting piston or rubber gasket piston you have to have the shaft so far in before you do pop it in to get a good light as they need a little oxygen as well, but not too much, the seal helps with that.

I am still learning, but that is what I have learned so far. :)
