I've got no interest in this, either from a user or investor standpoint, or anything else. Just came up, and thought that compared to a lot of the kickstarter axes this could be really good for actual use by actual firefighers. A cool aspect is that some of the rewards actually go to paying for axes to be donated to fire services, which is a worthwhile cause in my books. Looks like they want to get this to be a full production item, but need to get the start-up over the line, but the prototyping is done. So really it is just a kick-off, not a vapor product.

It's a bust. It won't function as a fire axe or pick. The design ensures that the tool will become stuck in the first penetration. No firefighter will carry it.
