Hey guys, so I've got some new leather in stock that I plan to make exotic inlay sheaths with. Any type of skin you are interested in let me know. No strings, I'm just curious. Right now I have several snake skins, but I'm looking at beaver tail, shark, sting ray and ostrich.

I have 4 dangler sheaths for sale. Two come with ferro rods. As I move forward my techniques and processes have improved. These are representative of my early work. They are well made and functional using premium materials, but I've learned a lot since this batch was made. I carry my first sheath every day and it is very tough.

Black with ferro $35

Buckle sheath with ferro $35 SOLD

Black basket weave $20 SOLD

Prices include flat rate shipping in the states.

Please pm or email me your address. Feel free to pm or email with questions as well. I'm also open to custom work at this time.

I do back my work against defects. If anything ever fails just send it back to me and I'll fix or replace it.

Thanks guys!

Nice grab, Blaine. I really like the looks of that buckle one.

Strigamort, it's amazing what you have accomplished in this short time. You have a great eye, and the gift of being able to translate your ideas into concrete forms. Love what you're doing.

Thanks man. I'd been searching for something to do that might capitalize on my overwhelming abundance of skill. :D

Seriously though. It's a ton of work for no profit, but it really is fun! :o

would my bushboot work in one of these?

The 'boot is roughly 1" shorter than the Kephart that this pattern was designed around. It'll fit, but it'll sit very deep. One option would be to wet form the leather to fit the ricasso of your knife, but honestly, I'd far rather make one that fits perfectly.

Shoot me a pm or email if you'd like.

Got the sheaths and they are superb. For the life of me I can't figure out the feedback system on this site, but Srigamort's work was top notch, shipping fast and overall left me satisfied.

Thanks!

Thank you my friend, I'm very happy that you're pleased.

I keep forgetting to mention that past customers get 15% off any future purchases. That includes in stock items, full custom work, Black Magic strops and ferro rod fire steels!

I should also mention that I have a stunning shark hide in the mail and lots of snake skins in stock! Shark can be used for full overlay sheaths, or can be used for inlays.

I can order most any exotic skin from fish hide, to hen leg (cool stuff!) to elephant, caiman, beaver tail, frog, lizard etc...

Black Magic strops . . . do tell us more about these! You can shoot me a PM too.

These are the very best strops that I've used. I've made and used more than my share!

The nap on these is super short. Just long enough to grab and hold the compound. Many people prefer the grain side up, BM strops give you the best attributes of both sides.

BM strops have a slot cut at the top.

This slot is placed so that a piece of wet/dry sandpaper can be used on the back of the strop when you need a little more aggression. Slide a piece of 400 grit paper in the slot, fold it over the back and use like a stone.

NOTE- Strops come with your choice- Pre-loaded with "green" Chromium Oxide compound, White custom made compound (from a Pro Knifemaker), this is a bit more aggressive than the green stuff and was originally designed for wood carving knives and tools, or bare, for those that wish to use their own favorite CBN, Diamond or other abrasive. No charge for pre-loaded abrasive.

Prices- (in the USA, intl shipping available)

9" (.75"x2.5")Black Magic Bench Strop $15 shipped

6" (.75"x2.5") Black Magic Field Strop $12 shipped
